Daisy Child Development Center was founded in 1970s by Dorothy Minglin. Dorothy and her staff taught hundreds of children through their toddler years into kindergarten, creating a safe and loving environment. Though she and her staff may be gone we continue to create such an environment for our children. When Dorothy retired, Eva Barahona took her place. In April 2013, she passed the reigns to Fayerouze Chunara. Faye’s intentions have always been to give back to the community by providing a safe place. Along with a dedicated staff and teachers, Faye continues to promote the child centered learning philosophy at Daisy Child Development Center.
